The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Captain Joy, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed sixth, Artistic Melody, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, Arbourfield, ridden by S. Foley, placed third and Dance Alone (GB), ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed fourth, where it appeared Arbourfield checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action
