See also » Harrington--Foley-strike-in-day-three-opener She enjoys that slow ground and that's a nice trip for her. She ran well against the older horses last time at Leopardstown and Mr Weld's horse (Coeur D'or) franked the form last night, he was just in front of her. It was a good run on probably a little bit tighter ground than ideal. She seems to enjoy that soft ground and is a filly we always loved as a two-year-old. She's only showing us now what she showed us early last year. We've had two winners so far this week and probably should have had another one last night but that's Galway for you. Jessie is a phenomenal woman but there's a big team behind her and everybody rolls in and helps. It's great to see her here today. Harrington added: .It was a little bit tense in the last few strides. She's a filly that doesn't do a whole lot when she gets to the front,. As soon as she felt the horse beside her she put her head down again. The Brosnans are terrific breeders and great supporters. She's a grand filly, she's tough and hardy and she's very consistent. She's getting there and I have actually pencilled her in for the Hurry Harriet, which has been moved to the Curragh, on Sunday week. That could be a possibility. Mrs John Harrington, trainer
C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Genuine Article (GB), trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met interference leaving the starting stalls
S. Foley, rider of Lan Cinnte, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered leaving the starting stalls
C.D. Hayes, rider of Semblance Of Order, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused to race when the starting stalls opened
G.F. Carroll, rider of Duke Of Leggagh, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped sharly left from the starting stalls despite his best effort to keep the gelding straight
S.D. Bowen, rider of Malbay Madness, trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump leaving the starting stalls
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on leaving the starting stalls involving Genuine Article (GB), ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, Lan Cinnte, ridden by S. Foley, Duke Of Leggagh, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Sea Gardens (FR), ridden by D. McMonagle, and Malbay Madness, ridden by S.D. Bowen, where it appeared that Duke Of Laggah jumped sharply to the left causing a domino effect of interference to all the runners that started with the exception of Semblance Of Order which had refused to race. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Duke Of Leggagh jumping sharply to the left causing a knock on effect of interference with no riding offence committed and in the circumstances decided that no further action was warranted
The Raceday Stewards informed A. Oliver, trainer, that his charge Semblance Of Order, which refused to race today when the starting stalls opened, may render himself liable to a suspension should he repeat similar behaviour in the future.
