Curragh Tue, 22nd Oct, 2024  Saracen He was impressive, he's a nice colt and had been showing up well at home,. He was going to make his debut a few weeks ago but just had a little setback. He quickened up really smartly there and looks like a smart horse for next season. I'm delighted to have, what potentially looks like, a good horse for Al Shaqab and the team. They've been good supporters of ours. This guy will come back for a Guineas trial in the spring. We were a little bit worried about ground conditions but you have no choice at this time of year. We were hopeful that he'd cope with them but given his pedigree and how he looks I'd expect him to be better on a faster surface. Obviously he'll have no problem going a bit further as well, given his pedigree. He's a smart colt and Dylan said he felt like he has a lot of speed.

Naas Sun, 13th Oct, 2024  Azada It was important that she won that race. She ran a very good race in the (Irish 1,000) Guineas and won well as a two-year-old. She handles that ground well. It’s on the slow side but that’s what she likes. I would like to have given her a prep run before the Irish Guineas but the way the programme was this year the classic trial was only two weeks before the Guineas and I like to have three weeks before a Group 1. The nine and a half furlongs might have been a little too far for her the last day in Gowran. She had been working well and I thought she might be hard to beat today. Chris gave her a lovely ride, he was in the right place at the right time, and she idled a bit in front so that’s why he had to keep her up to it. She’s a very big filly and there is a possibility that she may be kept in training next year but that’s all for future discussion. The way she won there you would think there is every possibility she could win a Group race next year. That will be it for this year.

Dundalk Fri, 27th Sep, 2024  Bellezza We're delighted, she's a filly that we've always thought a lot of. She's had a few hard luck stories in races but she's just put it together there and showed what we thought we had. She's a fine big filly that will only thrive with another year under her belt as well. We just said to Chris today to throw the reins at her and ride her as you find her. To go out there and enjoy yourself, so to speak. He was able to switch her off, he thought they weren't going a gallop and he kicked on up the straight. She kind of pricked her ears a little bit so there is plenty left there. It's disappointing that Maurice (Regan) had to finish second but she's ran an absolute blinder as well and they are two fillies that we're very much looking forward to next year over that trip and further.

Dundalk Fri, 12th Jul, 2024  Morgan Success Straightforward, job done today. . He had a couple of good runs. He's been coming along and might just have run into one the last time, we had no excuses. . I thought a mile around here would suit him well. Ben said there was no pace and he just let him go nice fractions, he said. He quickened up well and he did what he had to go. Ben gave him a peach of a ride. . We will probably look at a handicap now and see if we can get a three-year-olds only handicap, and bring him along that way. . He should improve a bit too, he's starting to strengthen up and mentally he's in the right place. It is a good family for us.
