An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Iffraaz (IRE), placed third, ridden by Frankie Dettori, Modern British Art (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jason Watson and Ethic (GB), unplaced, ridden by James Doyle.
The interference was found to be accidental as Dettori had drifted slightly right-handed at the same time as Watson had edged left-handed, causing Doyle to be short of room for three strides.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the 2 furlong marker when Ethic (GB), unplaced, ridden by James Doyle, interfered with Pentewan (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jimmy Quinn, which in turn interfered with Reclaim Victory (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Cam Hardie.
Doyle was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift right-handed towards the rail, resulting in Quinn and Hardie both having to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that Modern British Art (IRE), unplaced, ran too freely and hung left-handed under pressure.
