Permission was given for Counsel (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood and for D Day Odette (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The raceday privilege request in relation to Counsel (GB), trained by Ian Williams, was late being submitted.
Williams was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
An enquiry was held to consider interference ¾ of a furlong out involving Almufeed (IRE), placed third, ridden by Adam Kirby, Sense Of Worth (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Clifford Lee, Tarbaan (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by David Probert and D Day Odette (GB), unplaced, ridden by Daniel Muscutt.
The interference was found to be accidental as Probert had committed for a legitimate gap between Sense Of Worth (IRE) and Almufeed (IRE), before becoming awkwardly placed and short of room after a weakening Sense Of Worth (IRE) lugged right-handed at the same time as Almufeed (IRE), edged marginally left-handed, which forced Probert to switch Tarbaan (IRE) left-handed in order to avoid the heels of Almufeed (IRE) and resulted in Sense Of Worth (IRE) being moved off its intended line into the path of D Day Odette (GB), causing Muscutt to be checked in his run.
