Permission was given for Love Dreams (IRE) to be mounted on the chute and go early to post wearing a red hood.
One furlong out Love Dreams (IRE), placed sixth, lugged left-handed before being corrected at the same time as Mafia Power (GB), placed third, lugged right which caused Miss Britain (IRE), to be buffeted for room between runners, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of neither Love Dreams (IRE) or Mafia Power (GB).

An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start when Athmad (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Paul Mulrennan interfered with Master Of Combat (IRE), PLACED SECOND, ridden by David Nolan.
The interference was found to be accidental as Mulrennan’s mount shifted left-handed in a slowly run race which caused Master Of Combat (IRE) to be steadied when short of room.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Master Of Combat (IRE), placed second, ridden by David Nolan, interfered with Athmad (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Paul Mulrennan and Harbour Vision (GB) , unplaced, ridden by Elisha Whittington.
Nolan was suspended for four days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed under a right hand drive without correction when insufficiently clear of Athmad (IRE) which caused Mulrennan to take a significant check and in turn tightened Harbour Vision (GB) for racing room.
Following the race, Paul Mulrennan reported that Athmad, unplaced, hung left and Kevin Stott reported that Cappoquin (IRE), placed fourth, also hung left.
