Firsteen (GB), trained by Rebecca Menzies, did not enter the Parade Ring due to difficulty in saddling the mare.
Shane Kelly, the rider of Shine On Brendan (IRE) drawn 12, had appeared not to keep straight from the stalls.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Kelly was suspended for 1 day.
Shortly after the start, First Voyage (IRE), unplaced, edged slightly left-handed, crowding Firsteen (GB), unplaced, onto a free running Zafaranah (USA), unplaced, which had to be checked, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Turn Of Phrase (GB), placed eighth, ridden by Lewis Edmunds and Final Attack (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Liam Keniry.
The interference was found to be accidental as Final Attack (IRE) had received a sizeable bump on the hind quarters from Turn Of Phrase (GB) leaving the stalls, which caused Final Attack (IRE) to become badly unbalanced before the gelding had then proceeded to lug left-handed, resulting in Edmunds having to steady Turn Of Phrase (GB) when tightened for room.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the bend entering the home straight involving Bell Heather (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Connor Murtagh and Herons Nest (IRE), placed second, ridden by Adam Kirby.
Murtagh was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he switched his mount sharply right-handed when insufficiently clear of Herons Nest (IRE), causing that filly to be checked in its run.
Following the race, Dougie Costello reported that My Brother Mike (IRE), placed third, hung right- handed and Lewis Edmunds reported that Turn Of Phrase (GB), placed eighth, was slowly away.
