An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Mondammej (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Cam Hardie; Lihou (GB), placed fourth, ridden by William Buick and Corinthia Knight (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle.
Doyle was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she manoeuvred left-handed when insufficiently clear, crowding Lihou (GB) onto Mondammej (GB), causing Hardie to take a check on the rail.
Inside the final ½ furlong, Count D'orsay (IRE), placed second, lugged left-handed, briefly inconveniencing Lihou (GB), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Count D'orsay (IRE).
Following the race, Cam Hardie reported that Mondammej (GB), placed sixth, ran too freely.
