Permission was given for Kenny The Captain (IRE), Mykindofsunshine (IRE), Lucky Beggar (IRE) and Final Frontier (IRE) to go early to post.
The winner, Final Frontier (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Ayr on 7 July 2019, where the gelding finished sixth of ten, beaten 8 lengths.
Ruth Carr could offer no explanation for Final Frontier (IRE)’s improved form, other than the gelding may have benefitted from a short break.
Final Frontier (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Richard Spencer reported that Gustavo Fring (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the track and would prefer a flatter track and the gelding also lost its left fore shoe.
