An enquiry was held following a report from the Equine Welfare and Integrity Officer that an employee of William Stone, the trainer of EVENING ATTIRE, discovered horse feed from a previous meeting in Box 92 the Racecourse Stables. The trainer, the representative for the trainer, the Equine Welfare and Integrity Officer and the Clerk of the Course were interviewed. The Equine Welfare and Integrity Officer was satisfied that the food present was normal horse feed and the Stewards being satisfied that EVENING ATTIRE had received only normal food and water by mouth on the day of racing, allowed the gelding to run. EVENING ATTIRE was routine tested and a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
