An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line, when the winner Informateur (FR), ridden by Danny Cook, interfered with Demi Sang (FR), placed second, ridden by Richie McLernon.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Informateur (FR) as the interference happened shortly before the line with the official margin of a neck being more than the ground lost by Demi Sang (FR).
Cook was cautioned for careless riding as he failed to take sufficient steps to prevent his mount from edging right.
