BROTENSTOWN obviously likes Limerick as she made it two wins and a second from three outings at Greenmount Park.

One would have thought that a mare with a mark of 102 would have quite a task in an event such as this, but she is probably getting better and quick jumping at the last two saw her quite easily fend off the easy-to-back market-leader, BRAVE BETSY.

BROTENSTOWN was found to have a slight respiratory tract infection when disappointing on her handicap debut at Naas on February 24th. Punchestown next followed by chasing in the autumn would look a likely path for the daughter of Presenting now.

Andrew Duff took over from Barry Geraghty on BRAVE BETSY and she travelled supremely well but the three length victor never stopped galloping. She didn?t lose much in defeat.

Most of the rest ran their races but the two most worthy of a mention are CAILIN VIC MO CRI, badly hampered by the fall of SORRENTINA, but did good late running to take the fourth spot. BELLA MANA MOU made a mistake four out and ran okay in the circumstances. BE MY ALLSTAR (injured) and GEORGIAN SINGER were non-runners.
