The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr H.C. Swan, rider of Instant Tendance (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, Mr. H.C. Swan accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr.H.C. Swan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Glendaars Fortune, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, Mr. R.W. Barron accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Mr. R.W. Barron in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard they suspended him for eight racedays
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shaving (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

Rules or Rules of Racing that are EBF eligible Weights - 11st 11lbs Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (up to and including 27th December) may also ride in this race. (The winning owner in this race will receive a €5000 bonus should the winning filly be eligible for the Weatherbys Ireland/I.T.B.A. N.H. Fillies Bonus Scheme)
