Fairyhouse Sun, 6th Apr, 2025  The Miracle Man Mr (Austin) Trappe never has more than one horse. He’s with me 25 years and they’ve all won a race somewhere along the line, this might prove to be the best one,. He’s a tough horse, he’s form that Carrigeen family and they stay. He seems to like that ground. At one stage I was thinking we might let him off but they wouldn’t be running on faster than that during the summer so we’ll keep him out for a while. I have three or four to run. Three In A Row ran well at Limerick on Tuesday. As Edward O’Grady said ‘any winner is like a shot in the arm to a drug addict’.

Downpatrick Sun, 30th Mar, 2025  Seskin Flash He had a nice run in Naas and I'd say he built on it over the extra trip. The hood went on and, watching it down, I'll probably leave it off now. It just took him a while to get into the bridle. He can be free at home and that. We might run him again Thursday in Naas because he will probably get a hike for that. We'll see how he is.

Gowran Park Sat, 15th Feb, 2025  Aqua Force I’ve been looking after things for a couple of years. I’ve only six in at the moment and I’ve a job in the morning. She was very impressive. I always thought a fair bit of her at home but that’s above and beyond what I thought to be honest. The phone is hopping in my pocket at the moment!. She’s a mare with a pedigree, it goes back to Back In Front — the good horse of Edward O’Grady’s. I’d say someone might own her next time. She must be worth a fair few quid after that. It was a savage performance first time out in a bumper. She’s always been relentless and doesn’t know when she has enough done. She has a hunter cert. I was going to point-to-point her, and then I thought maybe she’s a bit better than a point-to-pointer.

Thurles Sun, 19th Jan, 2025  Millforce Keith was very good on him as I thought he was very vulnerable racing across the top but he kept the pressure on. The cheek-pieces helped as when he was in front he was idling but he is genuine, stays going and jumped really well. . Nice ground is important for him.

Punchestown Mon, 13th Jan, 2025  Forceonmyown Forceonmyown is a tough little mare and has a big heart. I wasn’t sure that she’d win a bumper and thought she’d be more one to go jumping. I only had her about three or four weeks before she ran in Limerick and Denis Ahern sent her up to me. He owns her along with a few friends. I’d imagine she will go jumping now.
