She’s run over all sorts of trips — five, six and seven — fast ground is obviously ideal for her. It’s great to win here and we’ll look for something similar. We bought her in France last year and had her for a few months before getting this syndicate together to buy her. Gavin Patrick Cromwell, trainer
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Queen's Pardon (GB), trained by Eddie & Patrick Harty, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Adrian McGuinness, trainer, following the performance of Iva Batt, placed second in this race, which appeared to represent an improvement on it’s previous run at Naas on the 6th May when finishing eleventh of fourteen runners to the winner Dandyville. On that day, the IHRB Veterinary Officer reported the animal to be post race normal when examined at the request of the Raceday Stewards. Adrian McGuinness reported that he was disappointed with his charges performance at Naas and had her examined later at his premises. He confirmed that no abnormality was found during this examination and nothing obvious showed in the subsequent days. As a consequence the filly was turned out into the paddocks for a few days to freshen up and then returned back into training. Having considered the report and liaised with the IHRB Handicapper, the Raceday Stewards noted it’s contents.
