C.D. Hayes, rider of Lalechko (GB), trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in stalls and jumped awkwardly once the stalls opened
C.T. Keane, rider of Coolcalmncollected (GB), trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had no luck in running
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Transcendental (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Tai Sing Yeh, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had exceeded the whip guidelines and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.M. Sheridan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
