The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Still Standing, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, Magic Chegaga, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, unplaced and Prairie Dancer, ridden by M.A. Gallagher, unplaced, where it appeared that Still Standing ran short of room on the railing. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S
Foley stated that in a slowly run race he got tight for room on the railing. M. A. Gallagher stated that his mount had run very free throughout and may have shifted slightly in the closing stages. J.M. Sheridan stated that his mount hung right throughout. He stated that a gap appeared and when he took the opportunity to fill that gap his mount interfered with the horse on his inner despite his best efforts to keep it straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J.M. Sheridan had taken reasonable steps to avoid causing interference and therefore took no further action
J.M. Sheridan, rider of Magic Chegaga trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout
M.A. Gallagher, rider of Prairie Dancer trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran free throughout
The Stewards informed Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer that Vultan, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards that are EBF eligible and that have run at least three times under any Rules of Racing on or before 30th August, 2021, at least one of those runs having been on or after 1st August, 2020 (105 = 10st) Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 10st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 8st 6lbs Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
