The Stewards reviewed an incident rounding the final bend about three and a half furlongs from the finish involving Nebo, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed fourth and Cool As Ever, ridden by G.P. Brouder, placed sixth, where it appeared Cool As Ever was checked momentarily. Having reviewed the recording of that part of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no action was warranted
