Leaving the stalls, Heerathetrack (GB), unplaced, jumped left-handed, which carried ARLO’S SUNSHINE, unplaced, off its intended line and caused Revolutionary Man (IRE), which was pulled up, to be slightly hampered, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The winner, One Hart (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newmarket on 17 May 2024, where the gelding finished ninth of ten runners, beaten 9 ½ lengths.
Des Donovan could offer no explanation for the gelding's improved form.
One Hart (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Rhiain Ingram reported that Kodiac Brave (IRE), unplaced, was outpaced and the Veterinary Officer reported that Revolutionary Man (IRE), which was pulled up, had bled from the nose.
