Permission was given for URESHI to wear a red hood to post and for Kinematica (GB) to be mounted on the course.
Approximately one and a half furlongs out, URESHI, placed third, when angling for a legitimate gap, stepped quickly right-handed, before being corrected by its rider, which caused the rider of Kinematica (GB), unplaced, to switch off heels, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of URESHI.
Following the race, Morgan Cole reported that Kinematica (GB), unplaced, suffered interference in running, approximately one and a half furlongs out and William Carver reported that Dimsons (IRE), placed second, ran too free.
