The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hand Over Fist (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards interviewed G. Brouder, rider, concerning his failure to arrive on time to weigh out on Hollys Honour, trained by J.G. Murray, in this race. G. Brouder when interviewed at a later stage today, stated that he was on medication under medical supervision and failed to leave home on time. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards accepted the explanation as they satisfied that there were extenuating circumstances for his failure to arrive on time to comply with the provisions of Rule 196 (i) but advised him concerning his responsibility for compliance with the said rule.
