At the request of the Stewards, B. Hayes, rider of Sneaky Getaway, trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left going out on the final circuit and was eventually pulled up
The Stewards reviewed an incident close to the finish involving On Eagles Wings, ridden by Mr H.C. Swan, placed fifth and Panda Boy, ridden by R.A. Doyle, unplaced, where it appeared that Panda Boy may have been short for room when racing close to the running rail. Having reviewed the recording and considered the matter, the Stewards decided that no further action was warranted.
An extended handicap hurdle for five years old and upwards that have not won a hurdle race before 3rd May 2020 that are EBF eligible and have not run as a two or three yr old under any Rules of Racing and have not won a steeplechase Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 11st 10lbs and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race or hurdle races after calculation of the handicap shall carry any penalty or penalties which may be allotted by the Handicapper.
