As the trainer had not stated at declaration that the gelding should be withdrawn should he lose a shoe, Music Society (IRE) ran without it.
Angel Force (IRE), drawn 6, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
Following the race, Cam Hardie reported that Another Angel (IRE), unplaced, stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Shane Gray reported that Constant (GB), unplaced, did not move fluently but returned sound.
