Permission was given for Amazing Grazing (IRE) to be led to post early, and for The Golden Cue (GB) and Followthesteps (IRE), Camanche Grey (IRE) and Economic Crisis (IRE) to go to post early.
Permission was also given for Van Gerwen (GB) to wear a lip chain in the parade ring which was removed before going to the start.
Everkyllachy (IRE) trained by Karen McLintock had arrived in the Parade Ring wearing an undeclared visor.
After being interviewed, McLintock was cautioned.
The Starter reported that Samovar (GB) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Scott Dixon was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The Starter reported that Nathan Evans the rider of Gift In Time (IRE), unplaced, and Paddy Mathers the rider of Samovar (GB), placed second, had started from the wrong stalls.
The riders and the Starters were interviewed and shown recordings of the start.
Having heard their evidence, Evans and Mathers were suspended for 1 day.
Victor Santos the rider of Camanche Grey (IRE), unplaced, was suspended for 4 days for using his whip above the permitted level from 3 furlongs out.
Victor Santos the rider of Camanche Grey (IRE), unplaced, was slow to remove the blindfold resulting in his horse being slow to start.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Santos explained that he had been distracted by Gift In Time (IRE) rearing in the adjacent stalls and had not heard that the starter was about to start the race.
The Stewards held an enquiry following a report from the Veterinary Officer that during a post-race examination Boundsy (IRE), trained by Richard Fahey, appeared to have possible signs of a puncture wound on its left jugular.
They interviewed the Veterinary Officer and Richard Fahey's travelling head lad.
Having heard their evidence, the Stewards forwarded a report to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority, and ordered Mr Fahey to submit Boundsy's medication records.
Following the race, Nathan Evans reported that Gift In Time (IRE), unplaced, reared as the stalls opened.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Boundsy (IRE), unplaced, bled from the nose and had an irregular heartbeat.
