The Stewards enquired into an incident about four furlongs out having jumped the third last hurdle involving Column Of Fire, ridden by J.W. Kennedy and Mormon, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, where it appeared that Mormon was impeded by Column Of Fire and taken off a straight course. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards cautioned J.W
Kennedy to ride with more care in the future.
