The Stewards enquired into an incident before entering the straight involving Duca Di Milano, ridden by Mr P.W
Mullins, Tapenade, ridden by Mr J. Williams, and Drumbaragh, ridden by Gavin Peter Brouder, where it appeared Duca Di Milano collided with the running rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by accidental interference. The Stewards however found Gavin Peter Brouder in breach of Rule 213 by failing to report that his mount hung badly throughout and having taken his record into account cautioned the rider
