He looks a very exciting horse. He's obviously in the Cheltenham bumper and I'll have to talk to the owners. He could have been very vulnerable there today on a track like that but he showed that he's a good horse. He's a galloper and he wanted to get him into a rhythm early, we didn't want to force him from flag-fall. He got into a nice rhythm and he was very good. The Stewards interviewed Mr J.J. Codd, rider of Envoi Allen (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. J.J. Codd was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays
