The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. J. Walsh, that D.L. Queally, rider of Robyndeglory, that had weighed in at 1.8Ibs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D.L. Queally was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record they suspended him for 1 raceday. Mr. Emmet Halley (Chairman) absent himself from this enquiry and was replaced by Ms. Caroline Corballis
The Stewards requested a report from Declan Queally, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Robyndeglory, placed first, as compared with its most recent run at Cork on the 7th of may 2022 were she finished 12th of 17 runners. Declan Queally stated that the fitting of a tongue tie today helped bring about todays improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report and took no further action.
