The Stewards interviewed N. Terrassin, rider of Whatucallher, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, in the presence of Mr. Patrick Harty. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that N. Terrassin was in breach of Regulation 10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and having considered his record they issued a caution on this occasion
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Se Mo Laoch, trained by Brian M
McMahon, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be have overreached on the left fore and to have lost a shoe, but to be otherwise post race normal
Mr E. Mahon, rider of Se Mo Laoch trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly
Shane Fenelon, rider of Ardaghs Choice trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount failed to handle the ground.
