The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pay The Tab, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Ms A. Budds, rider of Coole Cottage, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that she was in breach of R10 and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Ms. A. Budds was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having consider her clean record in this regard, they suspended her for eight racedays

Miss H.M. Smullen, rider of Pay The Tab, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount pulled hard early in the race and found nothing afterwards

Miss C. Butler, rider of Slice Of Paradise, trained by Brendan Oliver Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount felt unsound and pulled up before halfway. The IHRB Veterinary Officer subsequently confirmed Slice Of Paradise was lame of its right fore.
