She's a progressive filly and was unlucky the last day when she got nailed late on in Gowran. She's going to progress through the ranks this year, I'd say, she's a nice filly. We'll look for something similar again. Her half-sister Newgirlintown progressed all last year and it's a good staying family so she should get a bit further as well. A.J. Farragher, rider of Imposing Supreme trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference after a furlong and a half. The Stewards subsequently reviewed the incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Stewards reviewed the start of this where it appeared that the stall of Khafaaq, ridden by A.J. Slattery, drawn in stall 10, opened slightly ahead of the rest. Having viewed the recording of the start, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted other than to advise the I.H.R.B. Starter to test the stalls before the next race.
