The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Loma Larnee (GB), trained by A. Oliver, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards interviewed A. Oliver, trainer of Loma Larnee (GB), concerning the conduct of his horse who stood in the stalls and refused to race. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who expressed his disappointment with the conduct of his charge on this occasion adding that he tried everything at home. Having considered the matter and the evidence of the trainer, the Raceday Stewards suspended Loma Larnee for 60 days in accordance with the provisions of Rule 14(iii).
