An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1½ furlongs out involving Lady Ava (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Rossa Ryan and Hello Cotai (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Sean Kirrane.
Kirrane was cautioned for careless riding as he had angled his mount right-handed when insufficiently clear of a weakening Lady Ava (IRE), which received a light bump and was briefly inconvenienced.
The winner Miaswell (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ayr on 29 April 2024, where the gelding finished fifth of five, beaten 16¼ lengths on Good ground.
David O’Meara’s representative’s explanation that the gelding had appreciated the easier going conditions, officially described as Soft, Heavy in places on this occasion was noted.
Miaswell (IRE) was routine tested.
