An enquiry was held to consider interference on the bend leaving the back straight involving the winner Princess Alex (GB), ridden by Pierre-Louis Jamin, The Smiling Wolf (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Rose Dawes and Shelbourne (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Rossa Ryan.
Jamin was suspended for 5 days for careless riding as he had allowed his horse to drift left-handed towards the rail, causing Dawes to check for several strides which in turn caused Ryan to take a considerable check and his mount to become unbalanced.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Shelbourne (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference on the bend leaving the back straight.
