See also » Okita-Soushi-keeps-the-winners-rolling-for-OBrien-at-Dundalk San Andreas has run his heart out again, he did (keep him honest). He was never going to get by him but it was nice to see him get the trip. It does (give us options for the winner). I still think he will be a better horse on the grass too. Both have done everything right. San Andreas keeps bumping into one but he's a good, honest horse for the syndicate. He runs his race every single time no matter what trip you run him over. They are going well at the moment and we are revving all the others ones up for the grass. Joseph likes to bring them here and the two fillies earlier will both win a maiden here. If Joseph has them, he will keep racing them. Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer
The Raceday Stewards interviewed C. Stone-Walsh, rider of San Andreas, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards Verdict were satisfied that C. Stone-Walsh was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 3 racedays
M.P. Sheehy, rider of Okita Soushi, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted slightly right under pressure
