FormscanBy Gary Carson - The handicapper hasn't been harsh on MEHMAR after his maiden win at Navan last month and he may be able to follow up. The Mehmas gelding was defying a long absence when scoring in good style then and is only a pound higher now. Universally got a 9lb hike for his course and distance win 12 days ago so has a tougher task now. The five-year-old does looks progressive though. Never Shout Never was third to Universally last time and remains on the same mark so is entitled to get closer now. Moltophino has been narrowly denied on his last couple of outings and is another that has to be considered.
