At the 2 furlong marker, BOSSIPOP, placed second, hung right-handed before being corrected by its rider, inconveniencing HAWAAM (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of BOSSIPOP.
Leaving the stalls, DIRCHILL (IRE), placed eighth, jumped left-handed, crowding the winner, WRENTHORPE onto AMAZING GRAZING (IRE), unplaced, which in turn hampered SHOW PALACE, unplaced, and OUR OYSTERCATCHER, unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of DIRCHILL (IRE).
A further enquiry was held to consider interference approximately half a furlong out when BAHAMIAN SUNRISE, unplaced, ridden by Finley Marsh, interfered with DIRCHILL (IRE), placed eighth, ridden by Paul Hanagan. Marsh was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift right-handed without timely correction, giving DIRCHILL (IRE) a bump.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching half a furlong out when MACHREE (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Zak Wheatley, interfered with OUR LORD, unplaced, ridden by Adam Kirby. Being a 7b claimer, Wheatley was accompanied by a senior rider. Wheatley was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift right-handed without correstion, causing Kirby to have to take a precautionary check.
