An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference from approaching the final furlong until the winning line when the winner, Aramis Grey (IRE), ridden by Ben Curtis, interfered with The Nosey Parker (IRE), placed second, ridden by Shane Kelly.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Aramis Grey (IRE) as The Nosey Parker (IRE) lost no momentum as a consequence of being intimidated and was always being held by Aramis Grey (IRE) which was going away at the line to win by ¾ length.
Curtis was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his horse to drift left-handed without correction for a considerable period, intimidating The Nosey Parker (IRE) off its intended line.
