Permission was given for Hector Loza (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood.
The Starter reported that Born To Destroy (GB) broke out of the stalls and was withdrawn at 6:43pm.
Richard Spencer was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As a result of Born To Destroy (GB) breaking out of stall 9, stall 7, which was occupied by Brunel Charm (GB), opened marginally after but being satisfied that the gelding was not at fault the Starter allowed it to run.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Risaalaat (IRE), which started second-favourite and finished sixth, lost its right-hind shoe, Kieran Shoemark reported that Hector Loza (GB), unplaced, hung badly left-handed throughout and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
