Having reviewed recordings of the false start, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.
At the fourth last fence, Crystal Moon (IRE), placed second, was badly hampered by the fall of Supervisor (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race following interference on the run in involving the winner, No Worries (GB), ridden by Tom Scudamore and Crystal Moon (IRE), placed second, ridden by Tom Bellamy, which was beaten by ¾ of a length.
The Stewards considered that the interference was accidental and caused by Scudamore edging left-handed on No Worries (GB) in order to meet the elbow correctly at the same time as Crystal Moon (IRE) which had been lugging right-handed then stepped quickly right, resulting in both runners becoming unbalanced after bumping into each other.
They ordered the placings to remain unaltered.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that On The Platform (IRE), placed fifth, was lame on its right-fore.
