Permission was given for Agent Saonois (FR) to wear a red hood to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line when the winner, Conceal (IRE), ridden by James Bowen, interfered with Unit Sixtyfour (IRE), placed second, ridden by Kielan Woods.
The Stewards considered both horses had drifted independently left- handed having jumped the last fence, but on the run to the line although Conceal (IRE) had carried Unit Sixtyfour (IRE) off its line and given the gelding a small brush two strides from the post, there was no loss of momentum and Conceal (IRE) always appeared to be holding Unit Sixtyfour (IRE) to win by a neck.
As such, the Stewards ordered the placings remain unaltered.
Bowen was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed Conceal (IRE) to drift left-handed without sufficient correction.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Bridge Road (IRE), placed seventh, lost its right- hind shoe.
