The winner, Moroval (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Worcester on 11 June 2022, where the gelding was pulled up.
The explanation from Tracey Leeson that the gelding appreciated the Soft ground on this occasion, was noted.
Moroval (IRE) was routine tested.
The performance of Matchmaking (GER), which started favourite and was pulled up, was considered.
L J Morgan explained that the gelding was unsuited by the Soft ground and would prefer a faster surface.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities, other than losing its left fore shoe.
