The Stewards interviewed S. O'Callaghan, rider of Lucky Tenner, trained by Peter Fahey, concerning his riding when he continued to ride his mount to the last flight, at which it refused and fell, when his mount was tailed off and appeared tired. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he should have pulled his mount up and apologised for his actions. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S. O'Callaghan was in breach of Rule 272(i). Having considered his record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion
Shane Fenelon, rider of Conron trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled
J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Limerick Lace trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount whipped around at the start
B. P. Kennedy, rider of Coolcullen trained by Brendan W.Duke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled
The Stewards interviewed J.R. Wildman, rider of Humble Glory, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that J. R. Wildman was in breach of Regulation 10.3.f, excessive force and 10.3.b, out of contention
Having considered J. R. Wildmans' record in this regard the Stewards suspended J. R. Wildman for two racedays

Kennedy, rider of Coolcullen may have contributed to one or more of the false starts by disobeying his instructions. Evidence was heard from the starter. Having viewed the recording of the incidents and considered the evidence, the Stewards referred the matter to the C.E.O of the I.H.R.B for further investigation
