The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Thomas Coyle, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Selective Power, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Thomas Coyle stated that the application of first time cheek pieces coupled with his charge getting his own way out in front on softer ground had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stop On Red, trained by Miss Katy Brown, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis
J. Cleary, rider of Asisaid, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away
C.M Hogan, rider of Hastily (GB), trained by Tom McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away and never travelled.
