Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Superior Moment (IRE) had reared as the start was effected, unseated the rider on leaving the stalls, and was deemed to be a runner.
David Probert, the rider of Superior Moment (IRE), was unseated shortly after leaving the stalls.
The rider was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that the incident was caused by the colt rearing as the start was effected causing Probert to lose an iron, become unbalanced, and be unseated shortly after Superior Moment (IRE) had left the stalls.
