Following the race, Gavin Sheehan reported that Roger (FR), unplaced, ran too freely and hung left- handed.

THE KINGSTON STUD HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 2) (GBB RACE) Permssion was given for ARQOOB (IRE) to wear a red hood in the parade ring only.
Rounding the bend into the home straight, a weakening KAMSINAS (FR), unplaced, became momentarily short of room when awkwardly placed between TITAN DISCOVERY, placed sixth, and WINDTOTHELIGHTNING (IRE), unplaced, in a tightly bunched field, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of TITAN DISCOVERY.
The performance of KAMSINAS (FR) which finished unplaced, was considered.
It was noted that Fergal O’Brien could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.
KAMSINAS (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, the representative of Paul Nicholls reported that LALLYGAG (GER), unplaced, made a respiratory noise.
The Veterinary Officer reported that SPRING NOTE (IRE), unplaced, lost its left-fore shoe.
