Kath's Lustre (GB) wore ear plugs which were removed at the start and was given permission to go early to post.
Permission was given for Exceedingly Diva (GB) to go early to post.
Roys Dream (GB), trained by Paul Collins was late in the Parade Ring, due to the mare being very difficult to saddle.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approximately 1 furlong out involving Ghepardo (GB), placed second, ridden by Tom Marquand,, Mooroverthebridge (GB), which unseated Liam Jones and Powerful Dream (IRE), placed third, ridden by David Probert.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Ghepardo (GB)’s placing as the gelding was always holding its position and Powerful Dream (IRE) lost little momentum as a result of the interference, being beaten by 1 ½ lengths.
Marquand was suspended for 9 days for careless riding as he persistently encouraged his mount to maneuvere right when there was not sufficient room causing Jones to be shifted right onto Probert, resulting in Jones becoming tight for room and Mooroverthebridge (GB) clipping heels and unseating Jones.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Powerful Dream (IRE), placed third, suffered interference shortly after the start.
