Approximately 1½ furlongs out, the winner, Dream World (IRE), lugged quickly right before being corrected, causing interference to Turanga Leela (GB), unplaced, which interfered with Red Allure (GB), unplaced, which in turn caused interference to Alba Del Sole (IRE), placed seventh, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Dream World (IRE).
Following the race, David Allan reported that Supaulette (IRE), placed eighth, was denied a clear run and George Wood reported that Praxedis (GB), placed fourth, was denied a clear run approximately 2 furlongs out.
