An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 2 furlongs out when the winner, Real Estate (IRE), ridden by Cieren Fallon, interfered with Vincenzo Coccotti (USA), placed eighth, ridden by George Rooke, who in turn interfered with Kinglami (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Kate Leahy and Porto Ferro (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Georgia Dobie.
Being an Apprentice Handicap in the Racing Excellence Series, a BHA Jockey Coach was also present.
Fallon was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he maneuvered left when not sufficiently clear carrying Rooke off his intended line onto Leahy who had to take a check and in turn caused Dobie’s mount to shy left.
Following the race, Cieren Fallon reported that the winner, Real Estate (IRE), hung both ways, Keelan Baker reported that Mooroverthebridge (GB), placed fifth, jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls and Toby Eley reported that Aegean Legend (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Another Boy (GB), unplaced, had bled from the nose.
