The winner, Bonanza Sam (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Warwick on 26 February 2021 where the gelding finished tenth of the eleven finishers, beaten by 65¾ lengths.
Jennifer Mason’s explanation that Bonanza Sam (GB) appeared to benefit from the application of the first- time blinkers and by being ridden prominently at a galloping track where the gelding had previously performed well, was noted.
